Refund policy

At Black and White Nutrition, your satisfaction is our priority. This policy explains how returns and refunds work for orders placed within South Africa.

Do We Accept Returns?

Yes. We accept returns of both defective and non-defective products within 7 days of the date you receive your order, provided the item is still new and unopened as set out below. Once a return is approved, the item must be shipped back within 7 days.

How Are Returns Handled?

Returns can be made by mail or in person at our premises. Please do not send or bring any item back before receiving our approval and return instructions by email.

Accepted Product Condition

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused and unopened
  • In its original packaging
  • In the same condition that you received it
  • Accompanied by your receipt or proof of purchase

Return Shipping Costs

Defective, damaged, or incorrect item

Return shipping is at our expense. In many cases we will arrange a replacement or refund without requiring the item to be returned first.

Customer-initiated return

If you return an item because you changed your mind, the actual return shipping costs are for your account. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Restocking fees

We do not charge any restocking fees on returns.

Return Window

You have 7 days from the date of receipt to request a return. Once your request is approved, the item must be dispatched within 7 days.

Return Conditions

  • The item must be unused, unopened, and in perfect condition
  • Preferably returned in its original packaging
  • All seals, labels, and accessories must be intact
  • A valid proof of purchase or order number is required

Non-Returnable Items

Because returns are accepted on a "new and unopened" basis, the following cannot be returned once opened or used, for hygiene and food safety reasons, unless they are defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied:

  • Opened supplements, powders, capsules, or consumable products
  • Perishable goods
  • Custom or special-order products
  • Personal care products
  • Sealed items where the seal has been broken
  • Gift cards

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order on arrival. If the item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately at onlinesales@blackandwhitenutrition.com so we can evaluate the issue and assist you.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Request — Email onlinesales@blackandwhitenutrition.com with your order number, the item name, and the reason for return.
  2. Confirmation — We respond within 1 business day with instructions and the exact return address.
  3. Packaging — Pack the item carefully, preferably in its original packaging.
  4. Shipping — Ship the item within 7 days of approval, and keep your proof of postage.

Do not ship any item without our prior confirmation — unauthorised returns will not be accepted.

Exchanges

Yes, we accept exchanges. The fastest way to exchange an item is to request a return for the original item. Once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the replacement item. Exchanges are subject to the same conditions and return window as set out in this policy.

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved. If approved, the refund is processed to your original payment method within 7 business days. Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund. If more than 10 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us at onlinesales@blackandwhitenutrition.com.

Your Rights Under the Consumer Protection Act

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, including any applicable right to return goods that are defective, unsafe, or not as described. Our 7-day returns policy is offered in addition to your statutory rights.
